Supporting Piece: Magazine Article - Stage 3

The beginning page of the magazine spread has changed quite dramatically. After conducting some further research on magazine articles and their conventional layouts I decided that a bold picture and a small amount of the story would be the most successful way of enticing the reader to carry on.

Audience Feedback

We were fortuante enough to have a substatial audience to view our documentary, this ultimately meant more opinions and more feedback, this is a dramatic improvement on last years feedback which only included a few class mates.

There was a mix of media and non-media students in the audience which is evident in terms of their understanding of the construction of the documentary and the depth given in their feedback.

Statistic Shots

This is the format that the group have decided to use for the statistics. It is in keeping with the motoring theme and is an effective way to portray the statistics. Voice overs will be added and the colours will be partialy bled.

Editing has been the main focus of the group over the last two or three weeks as we already have a substantial amount of footage, however, after editing the clips we had already filmed the group felt we were lacking in one part of the documentary. We decided to charge up the camera and head off to look for a suitable candidate to film for another interview.

This interview would be focused on the persons view of teenage drivers, in order to gain credibility we had to include an interviewee from a younger and older generation. We devised a list of questions that would form the foundation of the interview, luckily the people we interviewed already had their own opinion of teenage drivers which really made the interviews seem as they were speaking from experience as opposed to it being to scripted.
